SMS Terms & Opt-In

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Direct2Date sends SMS only to users who explicitly opt in. SMS is never enabled by default. During sign-up, after creating an account, the user reaches the screen below, where checking the consent box is entirely optional — the box is unchecked by default and users can finish signing up without it. We only text users who actively check it.
